This week sees the return of the Scottish Ruby Conference, a highlight in the calendar of many Ruby programmers across Europe. We’re sponsoring the event (alongside Sage – ahem) and we’ve also decided to host a FreeAgent Meetup open to SRC attendees and FreeAgent users alike.

We’re pretty lucky here at FreeAgent: we love helping people run businesses, and it turns out that there are an awful lot of people struggling with doing just that.

The FreeAgent team has a busy few weeks ahead. Aside from the usual frenzied activity getting ready for the next release, various members of the team are out and about speaking at events.

Some huge announcements this week, with a completely redesigned website and refreshed application that’s easier to use and paves the way for some exciting new features.

Olly from FreeAgent Central will be at the Future of Web Apps conference on Thursday the 9th and Friday 10th of October.

A couple of members of the FreeAgent team will be heading down to the dConstruct conference on Friday the 5th of September.

FreeAgent now integrates with Timepost, a desktop time tracker available for both Windows and Mac.
