We’re pretty lucky here at FreeAgent: we love helping people run businesses, and it turns out that there are an awful lot of people struggling with doing just that.
As if the company were a pet, I like to think that each company-year at FreeAgent equates to about 4 human-years, which means FreeAgent will effectively be sixteen tomorrow. We’re moving on from the sulky, door-slamming teenage years into late-adolescent angst and pretending to enjoy poetry.

We’ve already posted about Roan’s speaking gig at the Future of Web Apps in Edinburgh on 27th May, and I’m now set to attend the Future of Web Design conference in London on 30th April.
Wow. What a great start to the year.
We’ve seen a 40% increase in both new signups and new subscribers each month since December, and we’re starting to see the results of our work to get friendly with even more accounting partners.

There’s some exciting news this week as it’s been announced that I’ll be presenting at the Future of Web Apps this year as part of their UK Tour.

The FreeAgent team has a busy few weeks ahead. Aside from the usual frenzied activity getting ready for the next release, various members of the team are out and about speaking at events.
Some huge announcements this week, with a completely redesigned website and refreshed application that’s easier to use and paves the way for some exciting new features.
Olly from FreeAgent Central will be at the Future of Web Apps conference on Thursday the 9th and Friday 10th of October.
A couple of members of the FreeAgent team will be heading down to the dConstruct conference on Friday the 5th of September.
FreeAgent now integrates with Timepost, a desktop time tracker available for both Windows and Mac.
