While the rest of us enjoy our creature comforts at home, it’s going to be a tough weekend for a few members of the FreeAgent team - who are heading out to battle the elements in the Scottish wilderness.
We’ve entered a team into the Scotland Coast to Coast 2012 challenge - a dramatic 105-mile journey that involves running, biking, kayaking and trekking through the Highlands from Nairn to Ballachulish. It’s a brilliant event that raises a lot of money for important causes, and a challenge that we were only too happy to take on.
Spearheaded by our co-founders Ed and Roan, Team FreeAgent will also includes our business development iron men David Gauld and Thomas McCudden. They’ve all spent months training hard (or so they claim) in order to not only be able complete the course and raise some well-needed cash for charity - but also so they won’t be physically wrecked when they get back to the office next week!
We’ll have a full blog up after the weekend letting you know how the guys got on, but in the meantime we’re on the look-out for sponsors - so if you fancy donating some money to the cause, please visit http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/freeagents. This year it is Macmillan Cancer Support that will be the recipients of your generosity, so please help us reach our goal of £1,000 in sponsorship. Every little helps.
