Here at FreeAgent we use a lot of web apps for everything from keeping notes to testing our software. This week, we’re highlighting some great web apps that help our business and might help yours, too.
Trello - lightweight project management
Need a to-do list with a little more oomph? Trello’s deceptively simple “boards” and “cards” functionality is flexible enough to help you organise nearly any project - we use Trello to keep track of our testing, as a sprint backlog for small projects, and to just stay on top of things.

A stir went ‘round FreeAgent Towers when Evernote recently released their latest beta version - it’s a big improvement for an already great project. FreeAgent team members use Evernote for everything from basic bookmarking to GTD-style daily to-do lists.

Doodle makes scheduling a meeting and voting for large groups super-simple -- we used Doodle to organise our recent bowling night, and to settle the ultimate FreeAgent Holiday Question of 2012 - when should we put up the Christmas tree?

Campfire’s chat rooms are a dead-simple way to keep in touch for teams who are thousands of miles away, or maybe just on the other side of the office. FreeAgent uses Campfire rooms for individual teams and for company-wide chat, as well as ad-hoc rooms that pop up for specific projects, like the “mobile” room!

Our super-friendly Support Team love Zendesk - it’s the app that they use to manage and answer support tickets from our customers. From the easy-to-use interface all the way down to to the friendly Buddha at the bottom of the page, Zendesk is definitely designed for customer happiness.
