Onwards and upwards

Posted on 30 September 2009 by Comments (10)

Our current team has made FreeAgent what it is today by working long and hard over the past two years. In the last year we've grown from a core team of 3 working remotely, to 5 of us working from a new office, and we're poised to move into an even bigger one later this week.

Some of you may have already spoken with David Gauld, our Business Development Executive, who is now officially a member of the team after contracting with us for ages.

We're also very pleased to announce that Emily Coltman will be joining the company as our Support Accountant. It's an exciting addition to the team as she has a wealth of experience as a small business accountant and really understands the needs of our accounting partners.

But it doesn't stop there; we've got big plans for FreeAgent over the coming months, and to help us achieve our vision we're now looking to expand our in-house development team.

So if you're a Ruby/Rails developer and want to be part of a young and exciting company who are moving onwards and upwards, please take a look at the current vacancies on our new jobs page.

Over to you...

Congratulations Emily. I did wonder how you earned your employee badge on Get Satisfaction.

Very Many Congratulations to you both ( or all ).

I look forward to your developments.

Well done Emily - I've not had a huge amount to do with either you or FAC but what I have seen has been all good.
Onwards and upwards indeed...

Emily welcome on board. I'm never one to be negative however aren't you the same person that made a number of postings about Crunch like the following?

Darren,

Thanks for your input!

Perhaps you don't mean to be, but I think you do sound negative and maybe a little paranoid. We're really pleased Emily is on board, and she's already making a big difference.

Relax, we're not all out to get you ;->

Ed,

Me paranoid, never! :-)

I wonder if your users and associates have seen the issues Duane Jackson of Kashflow is having with your shareholder (sorry he has now given his shares to his partner), Dennis Howlett?

http://blog.kashflow.com/2009/08/17/accmanpro-time-to-disengage/

We were on the receiving end of 'one of his attacks' and if memory recalls, Emily joined into that one.

Now can we play nicely in the playground please :-)

Darren.

Hey Darren, I think that's one for you, Duane and Dennis to resolve.

If you're going to launch personal attacks on my employees, could you please do it from your own website? I don't see why I should be paying to host your comments, and they really do you a disservice.

(We don't like to do this, but we're going to moderate out any more comments from you here - by all means drop me an email if you have more to say to me)
