UI Designer
As a member of the FreeAgent design team, you’ll be responsible for planning, designing and building usable, elegant interfaces for our popular web app and new projects.
Faced with complex and challenging design problems, you’ll have to craft elegant solutions that’ll be used by thousands of people around the world.
Aside from a fiery passion for design in general, we’d like to see:
- Demonstrable experience of designing user interfaces for complex applications, translating user requirements into elegant, usable solutions.
- Knowledge of best practices with regards to web standards, usability and accessibility.
- Strong visual design sense.
- Willingness to work with engineers to implement new features, including
front-end coding (HTML, CSS and preferably JavaScript) within the Ruby on Rails
framework.
- The initiative to come up with your own ideas on how we can create the best products.
- Knowledge of fundamental UX techniques including user testing,
wireframing, prototyping, interaction flows, information architecture
and more.
