Transfer money between Accounts

There are times when you want to transfer money between bank accounts, and FreeAgent provides a simple way of tracking this.

When you explain a bank account transaction (or create a new manual entry) you can select the Transfer to Another Account type.

If you have a matching unexplained transaction in the other account, this will be automatically explained. If you have a matching manual entry in the other account (defined as Transfer from Another Account) this will be linked automatically. Or, if there is neither an unexplained transaction nor a manual entry in the Credit Card account, a new manual entry will be created.
