We take the security and back-up of our customers' data very seriously. Therefore, Freeagent staff don’t have have routine access to your account data or numbers.
You can give us access to your data if you think you’ve found a bug or we need you to check something in your account data to help resolve a support issue.
Go to Users in Settings. Under the list of users, you'll then see an option to 'Enable access'.
Once you've enabled access, we'll be able to access your data. You can also remove this access again at any time using 'Disable access'.
We won’t receive a notification when you enable or disable access, so if you've spotted a problem you need us to check out, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know.
FreeAgent staff will never export a copy of your account data. To look into a support issue in more detail we might request that you do a data export from your account. With support access enabled FreeAgent staff can then access any exported data saved in your files area.
