We take the security of customer data very seriously.
All information which passes between our servers and your computer is encrypted using high-grade 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, the same technology that banks use to protect data.
Our servers are hosted by The Bunker, a military grade hosting facility with two geographically isolated data centres in the south of England. The Bunker have very tightly controlled physical security and highly resilient networking and power facilities. Resilient to even nuclear attacks, we don't think there's a safer place for us to keep our servers.
We look after your business data ourselves. We back up our data several times an hour and transfer it off-site, encrypted of course, which makes it exceptionally unlikely that your data will be lost.
Of course, you own your data. You can export all of your FreeAgent data at any time in Excel format, and analyse it or back it up yourself, as you see fit.
