FreeAgent integrates with both Basecamp and Basecamp Classic.
Once enabled you can easily import your Basecamp contacts and project data into your FreeAgent account.
Basecamp set up
Log into your FreeAgent account, select ‘Settings’, and then ‘Basecamp’ from the ‘Integrations’ options.
Next, in the Basecamp integrations page, select ‘Authorise Basecamp’.
You should now be taken to your Basecamp/37signals log in page.
Log into your Basecamp account as usual. Once logged-in you’ll be taken to an authorisation page, if you’re happy to proceed then select ‘Yes, I'll allow access’.
You’ll then be taken back to the FreeAgent integrations page where you should see confirmation that your Basecamp account has been successfully authorised.
You're now ready to start importing contacts and projects from Basecamp into FreeAgent.
Basecamp Classic set up
You’ll need a Basecamp API token to enable the Basecamp Classic integration with FreeAgent.
Log in to your Basecamp Classic account, select "My info" and scroll down to underneath your personal information – select the "Show your tokens" link.
Copy the token text – "Token for feed readers or the Basecamp API".
Enabling Basecamp Classic in FreeAgent
Log into your FreeAgent account and select ‘Settings’. Under Integrations select "Basecamp" to go to the Basecamp integration screen.
In the ‘Import from Basecamp Classic’ section, enter your Basecamp domain name, paste in your Basecamp API token, and then select “Authorise Basecamp Classic”.
You should receive a confirmation that Basecamp Classic has been successfully authroised.
You're now ready to start importing your Basecamp contacts and projects into FreeAgent.
