Automatic PayPal feeds

Here's how to set up your PayPal business account to synchronise with your FreeAgent account, so that your PayPal transactions will automatically appear in your account, without you having to download the transactions from PayPal and then upload them into FreeAgent.

Before you can enable this you will have to edit some settings in your PayPal account.

Granting API access to FreeAgent through PayPal

Once logged in at www.PayPal.com, click on the Profile link on the far right of the navigation:

Enabling in FreeAgent

To enable automatic PayPal feeds Edit your PayPal account from the Banking section, and select the Enable PayPal feeds checkbox.

You can additionally choose to enable guessing of transaction explanations from here as well.

Non-native currency transactions

At present FreeAgent will only import transactions in your native currency. All other transactions will be ignored. We'll be addressing this in a future release.
