Single Sign-on with Google Apps

You can set up your Google Apps account so that you can log in to FreeAgent directly from there.

In geek-speak, we've enabled Single Sign-on and Universal Navigation to FreeAgent from your Google Apps account.

Sounds great.  How do I set it up?

First, you need to add the Marketplace app to your Google Apps account and configure this for FreeAgent.

Pardon?  How do I add the Marketplace app?

Like this.

Go to the FreeAgent profile on the Google Apps Marketplace.

Click the Add it Now button.

Enter your Google Apps domain.

If you're not already logged into your Google Apps account, you'll be asked to log in.

Configure FreeAgent

The next step is that Google will ask you to accept the FreeAgent Terms of Service.  You'll need to agree these or you can't go any further.

Then you'll be taken to the "Configure Application" step.

Once you've clicked the Configure Application button, if you're logged into FreeAgent, you'll see a screen confirming the configuration.

If you're not already logged into FreeAgent, you'll see this screen.

config_app

This either lets you log in to your FreeAgent account (box on the right) or use the boxes on the left to create a new FreeAgent account if you don't already have one.

In either case, you'll be sent back to Google Apps to finish the integration.

Enable the App

When you return to Google Apps, finish the integration by enabling the app.

You'll now be able to log into your FreeAgent account directly from your Google Apps dashboard, or from the toolbar at the top left of your Google Apps page.
