Life at FreeAgent

At FreeAgent you’ll help shape what we work on and how we do it. You won’t be micro-managed or stuck in a rut and we value creativity, passion and heart.

Our app is loved by tens of thousands of people worldwide, and it’s a great opportunity to be a part of something that makes a real difference.

We work hard, but we believe in a healthy work-life balance and we’re a sociable bunch so there’s always something happening outside of work too.

In the office you’ll be provided with the best kit including top-of-the-line Apple computers, Herman Miller desks and comfy Aeron chairs for your bum.

We sit down together for catered lunches every Friday, have a well-stocked beer fridge on hand and there’s cake pretty much all the time.

There are more perks (like an annual conference budget) but you get the idea: we want people to do their best work here, and enjoy themselves while doing it.

Life in Edinburgh

Edinburgh has a solid reputation as a centre of innovation, and a thriving tech startup scene with plenty of meetups, but it’s also just a really cool place to live.

The city has a vibrant energy with lots of great shops, attractions, pubs and restaurants, but it’s wee enough to explore on foot.

Our world-famous Edinburgh Festival and Hogmanay celebrations attract people from around the world, and there are parks, greenery and mountains (no really!) slap bang in the middle of the city so there’s always somewhere to chill out and enjoy the year-round sunshine.

Ok, year-round sunshine might be pushing it, but seriously, what’s not to like?
