Bank Feeds automatically import transactions from your bank account into FreeAgent. This article explains how to enable a Royal Bank of Scotland or Natwest Bank Feed.

Begin by select the ‘Banking’ tab in FreeAgent. If you don’t have any other bank accounts in FreeAgent you’ll see the screen shown below. Select ‘Enable a Bank Feed’.

If you want FreeAgent to guess explanations for your transactions based on previously explained transactions, tick the ‘guess explanations’ box. Transactions imported via Bank Feeds will be marked for review and will require an extra step of approval.

Once you’ve entered the required information, select ‘Next Step’.

Enter sort code and account number

Finally, select ‘Download form’ from the ‘Bank Feed submission form’ area. You then need to print the form, sign it and send it to:

It will take approximately 10 working days for your Bank Feed to be enabled - FreeAgent will email you when the first transactions appear in your Bank Feed.
