We’ve taken a number of steps to ensure our website provides a great experience for all its users. Listed below are a number of these accessibility features and how to make use of them.
This site is designed in such a way as to allow users to change text size depending on their preference. Find out how to change the font size in common browsers or refer to your specific browser’s documentation.
We try to provide corresponding alternate text for all relevant images so that they can be understood by screen reader users.
The site makes use of PDF files for downloadable documents. In order to view these files, you may need to install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
The site uses HTML5 for markup and CSS for presentation and we ensure code validates wherever possible. There may be the odd slip, but we do try to keep a tight ship around here, so if you spot anything let us know.
Having trouble tabbing through links?
For MacOS users on Firefox and Safari, you may face difficulties interacting with the navigation menu at the top via your keyboard. To resolve this, update the following setting in your System Preferences:
- Open System Preferences
- Open "Keyboard"
- Select the "Shortcuts" tab
- Enable the "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" checkbox.
Note: On older versions of MacOS you may need to select an "All controls" radio button instead.
