Benefits of integrating Strafi
FreeAgent holds the most accurate picture of a small business’s financial position, but most business owners don’t have the time or expertise to extract what it means. Strafi does two things with that data.
First, it monitors your finances and proactively surfaces the signals worth acting on, such as overdue invoices, approaching tax deadlines, cash trends and invoice gaps. There’s no dashboard to check or report to run as Strafi monitors the data and tells you when something needs your attention.
Second, it helps you better understand your financial position through a conversational interface in WhatsApp. Ask anything about your numbers and Strafi explains what’s happening, why it matters and what the picture looks like going forward. This makes accounting data more accessible for small business owners.
How Strafi works with FreeAgent
Once connected, Strafi reads your FreeAgent bank balances, invoices, bills, VAT returns, Corporation Tax returns and Profit and Loss summary. Strafi’s signal engine runs against that data to identify the patterns worth pointing out and its conversational layer uses the same data to answer questions and explain your financial position in plain English.
Data is fetched on demand when the user requests a briefing or asks a question. The entire experience is delivered through a conversational interface in WhatsApp.
The connection is read-only so Strafi never writes to or modifies your FreeAgent data.
