How Cushon works with FreeAgent

Once you’ve connected your FreeAgent account to Cushon via the Cushon Employer Portal, we set up the integration via an API.

Each pay period, the Cushon platform checks your payroll has been run and pulls the required data from FreeAgent. It puts this into the correct file format for processing your pension contributions. You’ll get an email to say it’s been successfully uploaded.

If there are errors on the file that need to be fixed, you’ll get an email notification with a direct link to the error resolution page. You can check the errors by downloading the file as a .csv file and updating the necessary rows, before uploading that document for re-processing.

You can connect Cushon to FreeAgent by following these steps:

1. Log in to the Cushon Employer Portal’
2. Go to the ‘Integration’ tab under Settings.
3. Click ‘Add an integration’.
4. Follow the steps to add FreeAgent.
