How Cliénta works with FreeAgent
Once connected, every new client that completes their onboarding in Cliénta and is signed off by a partner, is pushed straight into FreeAgent as a new contact and business.
Values supplied during onboarding are automatically mapped to the matching FreeAgent fields. The firm sees a sync confirmation in Cliénta with a direct link into the new FreeAgent record so delivery work can begin straight away.
How do I get started with Cliénta?
You can connect Cliénta to FreeAgent by following these steps:
- Sign up for Cliénta (opens in new window) and pick a plan that suits your business.
- Go to the ‘Members’ area and add your logo, subdomain (https://your-firm.clienta.co.uk), colours and email template.
- From your Cliénta admin dashboard, open ‘Settings’ and then click ‘Integrations’.
- Select FreeAgent and click ‘Connect FreeAgent’. Authorise Cliénta to access your FreeAgent Practice Dashboard.
- Send your first onboarding link to a new client. They’ll complete personal details, Companies House lookup, AML checks, ID and 64-8 HMRC authorisation on their phone, in one flow.
- Sign the client off in Cliénta. The contact and business appear in FreeAgent automatically, ready for your team to work on.
