Benefits of integrating Dytto
Ask Dytto a question about a client and it immediately provides the answer from the client’s FreeAgent data. Every number it gives you shows which system it came from, so you can check it yourself. Dytto also writes client emails in your own style, with the right balances, invoice numbers and dates already filled in. You read it over, change what you want and send it.
Dytto connects through the FreeAgent practice API, so it covers every client on your Practice Dashboard instead of one client at a time. It also works with Outlook, Companies House, HMRC and the other tools your team uses, so you don’t need five tabs open to get the full picture of a client. Firms using Dytto save around an hour per person per day.
How Dytto works with FreeAgent
You authorise Dytto once through the FreeAgent practice API. From then, Dytto works across the clients on your Practice Dashboard. There is no import, no sync schedule and no second copy of the books to keep current. FreeAgent remains the source of truth and Dytto reads what it needs at the moment you ask.
Dytto can also act inside FreeAgent by raising an invoice, posting a journal set, logging a timeslip, explaining a bank transaction or updating a contact. Nothing is written to a client’s books without an explicit approval.
How do I get started with Dytto?
You can connect Dytto to FreeAgent by following these steps:
- Head to dytto.ai (opens in new window) to start your free trial, or book a demo for a walkthrough first.
- Sign in with Microsoft so access follows the identity and conditional-access rules your firm already enforces.
- Open ‘Integrations’ in Dytto, choose FreeAgent and authorise with your FreeAgent practice login. Your client list appears straight away, with nothing to import.
- Connect the rest of your stack such as Outlook, Companies House, HMRC and any other systems your team relies on, so Dytto can see the full client picture.
- Add your people, set permissions, share the prompts, templates and workflows your firm wants everyone working from.
- Ask Dytto questions in plain English.
