Why we built Find & Fix

In our 2023 research, bulk editing stood out as one of the top requests from our Partners. While FreeAgent has long supported bulk editing of bank transaction explanations, we heard loud and clear that practices need more than that. Editing Bills, Invoices, and Out-of-pocket expenses one at a time? Painful. Time-consuming. A drain on productivity.

That’s why we’ve built Find & Fix - to help Partners work smarter, not harder, so you can spend less time chasing errors and more time adding real value for your clients.

What Find & Fix does (and why it matters)

With Find & Fix, accountants and bookkeepers can now edit up to 100 items at once, across:

• Bank transaction explanations
• Out-of-pocket expenses
• Bills

What can you update? You can quickly change the accounting category, VAT rate, and description on your chosen items - no journals, no repetitive clicking.

Plus, we’ve built in Bulk Edit History, so users always have a clear record of what’s been changed (from/to states included).
