FreeAgent celebrates a trio of award wins

Innovative accounting software provider FreeAgent has been celebrating after picking up three prestigious industry awards in the space of a fortnight.

The company has been named “best new innovation in solving problems for small businesses using account aggregation” at the Financial Data and Technology Association (FDATA) 2018 Open Banking Awards, which recognise the many innovative ways UK companies are using Open Banking to help their customers.

Kevin McCallum, FreeAgent’s CCO, said:

“We were very proud to pick up our award at the FDATA Open Banking awards 2018 - it’s great to be recognised for the hard work we’ve done to date around Open Banking for small business, and we’re excited to see what the developing ecosystem will deliver in 2019 and beyond."

FreeAgent also had a successful night at the recent 2018 Computing Technology Product Awards in London, and were named Best Business Software Provider. Earlier this month, co-founder Ed Molyneux was also delighted to be crowned CEO of the Year at the Scottish Tech Startup Awards.
