We’re rolling out the MTD for Income Tax submission summary report page on your Practice Dashboard, providing a single, centralised view of all your MTD for Income Tax clients’ submission statuses and upcoming obligations.

This update is all about giving you clear visibility of which clients need attention and when, enabling you to manage deadlines proactively, reduce the risk of missing filings, and easily navigate directly to the client submission pages you need. No more switching into client accounts (or other systems!) to find key information. 

More control, less stress

We’ve also added new practice-level controls for approvals, submissions, and client visibility, helping your firm maintain compliance, reduce admin, and deliver a more streamlined client experience. 

These new tools give you the power to:

  • easily switch approvals on or off for all MTD submission types. Best of all? These approval changes are tracked in the client’s audit trail.
  • have a final say on filing, preventing clients from filing directly to HMRC for both Self Assessment and MTD for Income Tax.
  • manage client views - including hiding the ‘Taxes > Self Assessment’ tab, and which Self Assessment and MTD for Income Tax obligations clients can see on their Tax Timeline, giving them a tailored and streamlined view.
