Create the perfect freelance CV for National Freelancers Day
Today is National Freelancers Day - the annual event that celebrates the work of people who run freelance businesses across the UK.
It’s a fantastic initiative organised by our good friends at the PCG (the awesome organisation who support the UK’s legion of independent professionals) and an event that we’ve been delighted to take part in here at FreeAgent in the past.
Take part in National Freelancers Day
This year, the PCG has organised a very impressive main event which takes place tonight in London, where Apprentice star Karren Brady and newsreader Sue Lawley are joining a special business panel to talk about managing freelance talent more effectively in the public and private sectors. They’ll also be running discussions about freelancing across all of the event’s main social media channels and on national radio, so you can take part today too - just follow their Twitter account for details.
Write the perfect freelance CV
In the spirit of National Freelancers Day, we’re sharing a few tips of our own for freelancers about how to write a great CV for freelancing or contract work. Check out this guest webinar from Matt Craven of CV and Interview Advisors for tips and tricks about putting together a great CV (just skip to the 16 minute mark for the start of the session). Matt has also extended the special offer for FreeAgent customers that he mentions in the video, so if you’re interested, head over to his website for more details.
We hope you enjoy it!
